Crap.

Is there something that makes your head explode if you go over?

To succeed as an artist you must have:

1. Insanity (good kind).

2. Total relaxation on your own inner dementia. :P

3. Dedication.

4. Motivation.

5. The LOVE.

Did I mention that they were all on the same level!? Now that is a balancing act.

Wow. When I think I can't draw anymore, I freaking suprise myself.

This was done in 10-20minutes. I feel good.

This concept was I believe done in 35-40 mins. I just wanted to get Cthulhu down because I just wanted to draw that mofo. I went by this description.

"yielded simultaneous pictures of an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature"

I'll probaby get more complex. I just wanted to get the monster down after so many dang tries!
As I progress working on this, I sort of DO have Daily Art things to put up. However, since I'm working on some projects, so I'll try throwing stuff up here on the weekend.

Sorry I haven't been posting of late;;;

I've been involved in a project and I may not post as much as I'd like. I'll be doing a lot of work, but I sort of can't post it. :P

However, I am quite happy to post what I've done. I am quite pleased. At least when I post stuff it will most likely be a buttload of good work of which makes up for it. XD

I was drawing teeth over the weekend, and then I started drawing Alice Roosevelt (Teddy Roosevelt's daughter) obsessively. She definitely caught your eye and I had to draw someone with attitude. She definitely had something. I suppose it's like one of those profiling things to kind of analyze of how you could tell. Is it the tilt of her head or the look in her eyes? I just drew that as a study of her psychology.

It's not really that weird once you think about it.

My speed painting is coming together. Yippee. :)

Why do I think of ohm with this one?
Would I consider this mini-me time? I consider it playtime. :p
So, I think this week I'll do a bit of speed painting. One art director recommended that I do that. I set myself at an hour but ended up doing each piece 30 minutes.

I like my first one better, but at the same time some other bits of the second are a bit better.

Oh well, I'm getting used after penciling a lot of anatomy. I'm sort of at a free for all.

Also, I'd like to do landscapes, but there's nothing yet that captures me at the moment for me to sit down and do them.

Hmmmmm.... well I'll go with speed painting again. Good thing that this is all digitized, I'd make a mess of my desk now.

I drew from scratch as I always do after I read a bunch of reference and just chill. I've noticed my figure drawing is looking 'more right'.

I also loved Jeon Ji Hyun's expressions in My Sassy Girl. I just characterized it.

I still may paint the sword woman I did earlier. I'll probably start on it tomorrow.

Did I mention I love ConceptArt.org?

Just when I think I run out of ideas, well there is someone in their quick sketch forum to really make my head spin whether to flesh out a serious idea or to play around to loosen the gears.

Blogger is being dumb again. The rest of my sketches for today are up on my conceptart.org sketchbook. I can't add more than one at a time. It honestly makes me irritable.

Oh well. Today was a good drawing day! :D
Here are some sketches that I did over the past week. I'm quite pleased with them so far. However, Blogger won't upload more than one at a time at the moment, so I've had to link from my ConceptArt.org sketchbook.

I need to draw more standing figures though. Oh yeah, ears.
