I have always wondered why the Deep Ones go into the light when they supposedly hate it?
Maybe it reminds me of human nature where one bit of us goes into utter rot and scum only to desire and strive for light and glory? It's interesting where we split off yet disconnect on how we are to achieve such measures.

Maybe a good, long conversation with yourself is in order. :)

I was on the set of 'Men of A Different Age' and 'Cold Case' doing some background work.

Recent Concepts

On top of gigs, I've been finding time to do some mod work.

Right now, I've been working on a couple of mods, and have done concept pieces for both.

This is a C4 charge and detonator for Seven.




Another one is for a Red Alert 3: Southern Rising.

Ok, I am not passing this off as MINE, I'm trying to put a different take on the Firefox logo.

The Arrogant Man

I had been working on this concept for the past few days now.

This is the Arrogant Man, or the Prince in the Chzo Mythos series.

Download Yahtzee's games, they are fun, a throwback to the old style type games you used to play as a small tyke. Plus, the stories are quite good overall, with disturbing elements, and good mythical lore.

I seem to be dualistic these days.



First of all, I drew a picture of Michico and Arion, both their Chinese New Year animals.

I was messing about with an idea of an undersea u/distopian society. The idea was brought up by ConceptArt.org. However, it works out. :)

Circus Lady and Other Colors

I think I might paint her as a study in red. :)

I think what I will do regarding color, is to do each picture in a major color for a study.

I think I've already done blue with the dragonlad. I think this evolved into something else. :D I think it looks like I will do red, green, and yellow. Yellow I did a rough one, but I don't want to put it up here.

La Llorona

If anyone has heard of the legend of La Llorona, it is motherhood or rejection thereof at its most horrible and vile. Also, the version of where she shows up at her lover's doorstep in her bloodied nightgown after stabbing and tossing her children into the river gives me the right willies.

She used to be beautiful, but now...

Anyways, I hope I captured that about the character.

So, I was inspired by some of the dragon sculptures on the temples in Taiwan whilst browsing through an article.

I came up with this.

beauty and the beast - revisited

I revisited Beauty and the Beast again today. :)


As you remember, back in May, I did a quick concept of Beauty and the Beast. Here is the original.


Now, I'm fine with the general references for the Beast to be a wild and furry animal. Fair enough.

However, it never really conveyed to me of the Beast's ugliness. I mean with furry creatures, they are relatable to some level. I guess perhaps it's me, but any animal you can conceivably "pet", you can have some kind feelings or at least maternal for.

I wanted to think of the Beast in a different way. I figured I would make him not only ugly, but unrelateable to another person, so it would be even more difficult for someone to love him, at least feel tender towards him. Basically, really showing the challenge of someone loving him and breaking his spell.

Anyways, I wanted to make a Beast of which you really couldn't relate to. I also wanted to make Beauty a young woman, but more of an adult rather than a girlish woman. The original picture didn't seem to fit what I felt was my spirit of her.

Edit: Oofa. I did it again. This time another perspective...

My friend Michico and I do art. Well, I was wondering what I would do with her two characters Guei and Jai. The black and white sketch is my rendition, when the color one is hers. I used her reference obviously. XD
